Our management team are industry leaders in theatrical exhibition, entertainment, media, advertising, marketing and technology.
From 2010 to 2015, England served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of MillerCoors, LLC. As Chairman of the Strategy Committee and Co-Chair of the Operating Committee, he led strategic development and managed the Company’s marketing, strategy and planning functions. He built digital and entertainment marketing capabilities for the Company that led to multiple new platforms through partnerships with Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo!, Yelp, Twentieth Century Fox, etc. He also delivered critical new sponsorship deals with multiple colleges and sports teams across the NFL, MLB, NBA, MLS and NHL.
From 2008 to 2010, England served as the first Chief Marketing Officer of the newly formed MillerCoors. He was responsible for the profitable growth of the business, which he delivered through growing the Company’s share in the beer category, creating a new marketing department and substantially over-delivering planned marketing synergies.
Prior to joining MillerCoors, England served as Chief Marketing Officer of Coors Brewing Company from 2006 to 2008, a $2.7 billion revenue division of Molson Coors Brewing Company. In this role, he delivered successive best years ever for Coors Light, drove double-digit volume growth for Keystone Light, and quadrupled the size of the Blue Moon franchise.
From 2002 to 2006, he held a number of executive positions such as the Vice President of International Marketing and Strategy, and Vice President and General Manager of the Snacks Division at The Hershey Company. Previously, he also held various positions with Opentable, Inc., Nabisco Holdings Inc., and Cadbury Schweppes P.L.C.
England served on the Board of the Association of National Advertisers until the end of 2015 and was a Board member of the Advertising Council Inc. from 2009 to 2015. He graduated from Durham University with a B.S. in engineering science and earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Clifford (Cliff) E. Marks is president of National CineMedia (NCM), LLC, and National CineMedia, Inc. An advertising, marketing and sales professional for over 30 years, Marks leads the NCM's marketing, sales and advertising and affiliate partnerships divisions and is based in New York City.
Marks joined NCM as an original member of the company’s leadership team in 2002, when it was then the Regal Entertainment Group media subsidiary known as Regal CineMedia Corporation. He was named president of sales and marketing when Regal CineMedia became National CineMedia in 2005 with the addition of AMC and later Cinemark as founding member theater circuits. Marks was the visionary behind the creation and evolution of NCM’s groundbreaking movie pre-show, FirstLook— the first to combine entertainment content and advertising — turning cinema into not only a powerful sight-sound-and-motion medium, but a key premium video option in today’s fragmented media landscape.
Before joining NCM, Marks was a 14-year veteran of ESPN/ABC Sports, where as senior vice president he oversaw its $2.0 billion sales organization. Marks was instrumental in developing vertically integrated advertising packages for clients across multiple platforms, including ABC Sports programming, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, ESPNews, ESPN.com, ESPN magazine, ESPN radio and ESPNZone restaurants. From 1986 through 1989, Marks was an executive at The Nashville Network. He began his career at prominent New York advertising agencies Young & Rubicam (1985-86) and BBDO (1983-85).
He currently serves as a director on the Executive Board of the Screen Advertising World Association (SAWA), and also serves on the marketing committee of the International 3D Society. Marks has also served several terms as president and chairman of the Cinema Advertising Council (CAC).
Ralph E. Hardy is executive vice president and general counsel of National CineMedia (NCM), LLC and National CineMedia, Inc., based in the company’s Centennial, Colo. headquarters.
Prior to his current position, Hardy served as executive vice president and general counsel of Regal Entertainment Group’s media subsidiary, Regal CineMedia Corporation, which became National CineMedia in 2005. Previously, Hardy had held various legal executive positions with United Artists Theatre Company and its predecessors since 1989, including executive vice president in charge of legal affairs and general counsel.
Geri House is Executive Vice President, People and Organization (P&O), based in NCM’s Centennial, CO headquarters. Geri leads NCM’s People and Organization department, overseeing organizational development and training as well as all human resources functions. The latter include legal compliance, recruiting, employee benefits, compensation, performance management, and succession planning.
Prior to joining NCM, Geri was in private practice with two international law firms, Hogan Lovells and Faegre Baker Daniels. While in private practice, Geri specialized in employment litigation and counseling as well as commercial litigation. She represented employers in employment disputes involving alleged violations of federal and state employment statutes and related claims, and specialized in cases involving enforcement of non-compete agreements, protection of trade secrets and unfair competition. Geri also advised clients regarding business and employment issues, and assisted with the negotiation of contracts and revisions to company policies and handbooks.
As National CineMedia (NCM)’s Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Dave Kupiec supervises the National, Regional and Digital advertising sales teams as well as Marketing and Sales Operations, from the company’s New York office.
Kupiec joined Regal Entertainment Group’s media subsidiary Regal CineMedia Corporation in 2002, which became National CineMedia in 2005. Prior to this, Kupiec served as publisher of Wenner Media’s Men’s Journal magazine. He joined Men’s Journal in 1999 as associate publisher and was promoted to the magazine’s top post in February 2001. Before Men’s Journal, Kupiec was advertising director at Weider Publications’ Men’s Fitness from 1998-1999, as well as marketing director of Conde Nast’s Gourmet (1993-1998). For ten years prior to his appointment at Gourmet, Kupiec worked on the agency side of the media planning business, his last position being vice president/associate media director at Bates Worldwide Advertising (1987-1993).
Tom Reilly a 13-year veteran of NCM, leads the day-to-day management of NCM’s local and regional sales teams, comprised of nearly 200 sales professionals across the country. Before joining the company as one of the first employees of NCM’s predecessor company, Regal CineMedia, Reilly served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Next Generation Network (NGN), a retail network available at convenience stores and quick service restaurants that was purchased by Regal Entertainment Group in 2001. Before joining NGN, Reilly held various senior sales management positions with several online and newspaper companies.
Katie Scherping is chief financial officer (CFO) of National CineMedia (NCM), based in the company’s corporate headquarters in Centennial, Colorado.
With more than 30 years of finance, accounting and managerial experience, Scherping came to NCM from Quiznos, where she had served as interim president and CEO since June of 2016. Previously, she had been a part of the Quiznos management team in the role of chief financial officer since December of 2013.
Prior to joining Quiznos, Scherping served as Red Robin Gourmet Burgers’ chief financial officer from June 2005 to July 2011. During her tenure at Red Robin, the company grew from 274 restaurants to over 450, with revenue growth from $486.0 million in 2005 to $864.3 million in 2010. Scherping began her career in Denver as an auditor with Arthur Andersen. She has also held various accounting positions with companies in the oil and gas industry, security alarm monitoring, telecommunications, technology, and restaurant industries.
Scherping is also the recipient of several awards including the Jean Yancey Award for Outstanding Women in Business, the CFO of the Year Award, and an Outstanding Accountancy Alumni award from Northern Illinois University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and is a CPA and CGMA.
