Kurt C. Hall
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Kurt C. Hall is chairman and chief executive officer of National CineMedia (NCM), LLC and National CineMedia, Inc.
 
Prior to his current position, from May 2002 to May 2005, Mr. Hall simultaneously served as both co-chairman and co-chief executive officer of Regal Entertainment Group, and president and CEO of its media subsidiary Regal CineMedia Corporation (which became National CineMedia in 2005). Previously, Mr. Hall held various financial and executive positions with United Artists Theatre Company and its predecessor companies, including CFO and ultimately CEO, before it became part of Regal Entertainment Group in 2002. Prior to joining United Artists in 1988, Mr. Hall served as director, accounting and financial reporting for Avalon Corporation, a public independent oil and gas real estate company based in New York City. He began his career as a senior accountant with Peat Marwick Main & Co. (currently KPMG Peat Marwick) in Denver, Colo.
 
Mr. Hall also serves on the board of directors of RMG Networks, Inc. and is a member of its compensation committee.
 

 

Clifford E. Marks
President of Sales and Marketing
National CineMedia (NCM)

Clifford (Cliff) E. Marks is president of sales and marketing with National CineMedia (NCM), LLC, and National CineMedia, Inc. An advertising, marketing and sales professional for nearly 30 years, Marks leads the NCM Media Networks marketing, sales and advertising division based in New York City.
 
Prior to his current position, Marks served as president of sales and marketing with Regal Entertainment Group’s media subsidiary, Regal CineMedia Corporation, which became National CineMedia in 2005. Previously, Marks was a 14-year veteran of ESPN/ABC Sports, where as senior vice president he oversaw its $2.0 billion sales organization. Working with top national advertisers such as Anheuser Busch, Circuit City, MCI, Toyota, AT&T, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC, Marks was instrumental in developing vertically integrated advertising packages for clients across multiple platforms, including ABC Sports programming, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, ESPNews, ESPN.com, ESPN magazine, ESPN radio and ESPNZone restaurants. From 1986 through 1989, Marks was an executive at The Nashville Network. He began his career at prominent New York advertising agencies Young & Rubicam (1985-86) and BBDO (1983-85).

He currently serves as president and chairman of the Cinema Advertising Council (CAC), as a director on the Executive Board of the Screen Advertising World Association (SAWA), and also serves on the marketing committee of the International 3D Society. In 2009 and 2010, Marks was named one of The Mediaweek 50 top executives in the advertising industry.

 

 

Gary W. Ferrera
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Risk Officer
National CineMedia (NCM), LLC and National CineMedia, Inc.

Gary W. Ferrera is the executive vice president, chief financial officer (CFO) and chief risk officer (CRO) of National CineMedia (NCM), LLC and National CineMedia, Inc. He manages NCM’s finance team from the company’s Centennial, Colo. headquarters.
 
Prior to joining NCM in 2006, Ferrera held various leadership positions in accounting and finance, most recently as the interim chief financial officer of the German cable company iesy Hessen, GmbH (now known as Unity Media). From 2000 to 2005, Ferrera held positions in both the United States and Europe with Citigroup’s Global Corporate and Investment Bank, where he spent the majority of that time advising and financing European media companies. Ferrera also held positions as an investment banker at Bear Stearns and as an international tax consultant at Arthur Andersen.
 
 
 

Bennett Fogel
Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing Partnerships
National CineMedia (NCM)

Bennett Fogel is executive vice president of sales and marketing partnerships with National CineMedia’s NCM Media Networks in New York.  He is responsible for developing new business strategy, introducing new advertisers to the cinema medium and orchestrating integrated deals across NCM’s multiple platforms.
 
Fogel joined National CineMedia in 2008 after more than a decade as executive vice president of sales and marketing with Univision, where he led a team of business development executives which helped grow the Univision Networks from $250 million in revenue to over $1billion in sales.  Prior to Univision, he spent eight years with Disney in several positions, including vice president, general sales manager at KCAL, Disney’s owned and operated station in Los Angeles, CA.  During that time, he also helped create Disney Sports Media, a unit which handles all aspects of Disney’s sports media properties and KCAL sponsorships including the Lakers, Kings, Clippers, Angels, and Mighty Ducks.
 
A graduate of Hofstra University, Fogel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

 

Ralph E. Hardy

Ralph E. Hardy is executive vice president and general counsel of National CineMedia (NCM), LLC and National CineMedia, Inc., based in the company’s Centennial, Colo. headquarters.

Prior to his current position, Hardy served as executive vice president and general counsel of Regal Entertainment Group’s media subsidiary, Regal CineMedia Corporation, which became National CineMedia in 2005. Previously, Hardy had held various legal executive positions with United Artists Theatre Company and its predecessors since 1989, including executive vice president in charge of legal affairs and general counsel.

 
 

Dave Kupiec

As National CineMedia (NCM)’s Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Dave Kupiec supervises the National, Regional and Interactive advertising sales teams of NCM Media Networks, as well as Marketing and Sales Operations, from the company’s New York office.
 
Kupiec joined Regal Entertainment Group’s media subsidiary Regal CineMedia Corporation in 2002, which became National CineMedia in 2005. Prior to this, Kupiec served as publisher of Wenner Media’s Men’s Journal magazine. He joined Men’s Journal in 1999 as associate publisher and was promoted to the magazine’s top post in February 2001. Before Men’s Journal, Kupiec was advertising director at Weider Publications’ Men’s Fitness from 1998-1999, as well as marketing director of Conde Nast’s Gourmet (1993-1998). For ten years prior to his appointment at Gourmet, Kupiec worked on the agency side of the media planning business, his last position being vice president/associate media director at Bates Worldwide Advertising (1987-1993).



 

 
Shelly Maxwell

Shelly Maxwell is executive vice president of National CineMedia (NCM)’s entertainment events division, NCM Fathom,  based in the company’s Centennial, Colo. headquarters.
 
Maxwell joined Regal Entertainment Group’s media subsidiary Regal CineMedia Corporation (now National CineMedia) in 2004 as vice president of event operations, became a senior vice president in 2006, and was promoted to her current position in 2011. During her tenure, NCM Fathom has grown from a start-up to a profitable multimillion dollar business.
 
Prior to this, she served as senior vice president of programming, production and on-air strategy for Scripps Networks’ Shop At Home Channel, and as senior vice president, general manager of operations with Qwest Digital Media. Maxwell’s television career also includes work as senior vice president, programming and production with America's Voice Cable Network in Washington, D.C.; vice president, general manager of the WB television station affiliate WNAB in Nashville, Tenn.; and producer of various Emmy Award-winning non-news programs and thousands of live daily talk shows airing on networks including ABC, CBS, WB and FOX in the Tampa Bay, Washington and Nashville markets. Prior to her career in entertainment, Maxwell was a sales executive for Foster Medical Company, then owned by Avon.



 
 
Al Rosabal

Al Rosabal is executive vice president and chief technology officer (CTO) for National CineMedia (NCM), based in the company’s corporate headquarters in Centennial, Colo.
 
Prior to joining NCM, Rosabal was the CTO for the City of Denver, where he led initiatives in IT governance, enterprise architecture, infrastructure optimization, and organizational realignment. Previously, he served as CIO for Douglas County, Colorado.  Rosabal’s past experience also includes executive IT positions with Nextel Communications; Percepta/Teletech, a London-based joint venture with Ford Motor Company; and IBM Global Services, where he managed programs in the healthcare, energy, and telecomm industries.



 
 
Ken Venturi
Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer

As chief creative officer of National CineMedia’s NCM Media Networks, Ken Venturi oversees all on screen production, creation, and quality of NCM’s groundbreaking pre-feature program, FirstLook.  He is based in the company’s Centennial, Colo. office.
 
Ken has positioned the NCM Creative Services group as a leading, award winning creative agency for the cinema space and has produced over 20,000 original cinema ads for clients nationwide including companies like Microsoft, Lexus, Sony, Universal Studios, Lego, the Navy, and Regal Entertainment Group.  Ken serves as the lead creative liaison to NCM content partners and major national accounts. As executive vice president of interactive media, Ken also leads the NCM Interactive division, which offers 360-degree integrated marketing opportunities in combination with cinema.
 
Ken has over 20 years of experience in executive management, creative strategy and production, technical applications and systems development.  Prior to joining NCM, Ken served for fifteen years as president and CEO of Focus Design Inc. a national creative, new media and promotional agency.  In that time, Ken also built and served as CEO of Foresite Solutions, an application development firm; Creaticom, a leading stock content producer; and Creative Exchange, a progressive creative community and ecommerce website. 



 
 
Earl Weihe

Earl B. Weihe is executive vice president and chief operations officer (COO) of National CineMedia (NCM) LLC and National CineMedia, Inc., based in the company’s Centennial, Colo. headquarters. 
 
Weihe was appointed to his current position in 2010. Prior to this, he served as senior vice president of operations with the company. Previously, beginning in 2002, Weihe served as vice president of operations for Regal Entertainment Group’s media subsidiary Regal CineMedia Corporation, which became National CineMedia in 2005. His career history includes over 20 years of executive positions in the transportation and telecommunications industries – including management roles in the areas of administration, logistics, operations, sales, marketing and finance.
